To ensure that your marriage is legally recognized in your country following documents are required for the civil wedding in Italy:

Valid identity card or passport valid for at least 6 months
International birth certificate
For most of the EU countries it’s necessary only a Nulla Osta from your country. For US, Great Britain, Australian citizens please contact us directly for more detailed information’s.

Please keep in mind that for women who has divorced, in Italy the year of separation is taken very carefully. A woman can not get married again if it’s not passed at least 300 days from her divorce.

Church wedding

If it’s your dream to get married in church in Italy, than you should be already civil married in your country. Otherwise if you are catholic, you may do both in the catholic church in Italy. Catholic weddings can be only celebrated in sacred places. Protestant and Anglican weddings we can also arrange a place of your choice as a beautiful garden, a terrace overlooking the sea and so on. The following documents are required for your church wedding:

already present marriage certificate of the registry office from your country or at least the registration for the civil ceremony
Valid identity card or passport valid for at least 6 months
Baptism and Confirmation proof
Confirmation of the marriage preparation course from your prist
Transfer to marry abroad (Litterae dimissoriae)
